OUR STORY

Rooted in Cathedral Hill, our shop has been part of the Twin Cities community for over 40 years, formerly known as Fleur de Lis. Today, we carry that legacy forward with florals that feel lush, joyful, wild, intentional, and alive.

OUR INTENTION

‘Ergo’ means therefore—a word that brings us closer to the heart of the matter. We see flowers the same way: as part of a larger emotional and ecological story.

Co-Owner & Florist

A queer florist and dad who finds beauty in what's fleeting. Narcissus in early spring, lichen-covered branches, lilac at the edge of the property. David does a bit of everything at Ergo from leading weddings and workshops to making bouquets at the Stem Bar. And he'll always remind you to leave room for the butterflies.

Co-Owner & Florist

A florist who's been surrounded by flowers for as long as she can remember: checkered fritillaria, hyacinth filling her home every spring, vintage vases filled with her creations. Lily leads retail and everyday florals at Ergo, keeping the shop stocked with delightful blooms and always ready to help you keep your prayer plant alive.
